Triptii Dimri bags another biggie; to pair opposite Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s next

Triptii Dimri is currently the biggest sensation in Bollywood. Her latest hot and passionate number with Vicky Kaushal from Bad Newz has escalated her popularity to a new level. And now the beautiful actress has bagged yet another biggie in her kitty. She will be next seen in a romantic movie Tere Iskh Mein with Tamil superstar Dhanush directed by Aanand L. Rai.

Apart from Animal, which made Triptii Dimri a big celebrity, the actress has done some very good roles in movies like Qala, Bulbbul, and Laila Majnu. However, her intimate scenes in Animal with Ranbir Kapoor seem to have overshadowed her acting prowess with many people recalling Triptii as Bhabhi 2.

Nonetheless, Aanand L. Rai who is known to have given some very good films is reportedly very happy with the trajectory of the actress and has found her to be just perfect as the female lead opposite Dhanush in Tere Ishk Mein. The Tanu Weds Manu director thinks that Triptii Dimri is ideally suited for the emotional role opposite Dhanush who plays an angry young man Shankar in this movie. A.R. Rahman has been roped in to develop the musical score.

Tere Iskh Mein is a tragic love story that is similar to Raanjhanna, one of the earliest projects of Dhanush and Aanand L. Rai. Although this flick was announced on the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanna sometime ago, it was delayed because Dhanush was busy completing his commitments down South. The film is expected to go on the floors from October 2024 onwards and will be most probably filmed in Uttar Pradesh, with Varanasi as the main focus.

Triptii Dimri will be next seen in Bad Newz with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk followed by Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video alongside Rajkummar Rao. She has already kick-started shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Kartik Aaryan slated to release in Diwali 2024. Triptii is also a part of Dhadak 2 in which she will play the female lead opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi.
