It’s been four years since everyone’s favourite actor Sushant Singh Rajput aka Sarfaraz from PK and Ani from Chhichhore left us for his heavenly abode on June 14, 2020. The most promising actor was found dead at his Bandra residence during the pandemic under mysterious circumstances.

Even as years have passed, the CBI has failed to provide a satisfactory answer as fans claim it is a case of ‘murder’ and not suicide. On his 4th death anniversary, Sushant’s fans are demanding justice for the late actor through social media posts. Fans are trending #JusticeForSushant on social media.

Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who is leading the protest for justice, has asked all his fans to get together in Mumbai to demand justice for the late actor.

“It’s time, let us all come together and pray and demand justice for our dear Sushant. See you all on 14th June (Friday) in Mumbai Un Reve Studio, Bandra West, Basement, Arc Nest Building Blue Tokai Coffee shop Maharashtra #sushantsinghrajput,” Shweta shared on her Instagram.

Fans have also organised a prayer meeting at a Mumbai-based studio, followed by a food distribution programme to the poor in the loving memory of Sushant. Fans are also planning to gather outside Mont Blanc Apartments in Bandra, where Sushant used to stay and was found dead.

Even though the CBI is handling Sushant’s case, the lack of a closure report continues to spark outrage among fans who have been demanding justice.
Initially, the Mumbai police categorized his death as accidental, but the situation escalated after Sushant’s father complained accusing his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family of abetting his suicide.

While Sushant’s legacy lives on through his films, fans cherish his memories till today.  However, the quest for some unanswered answers and justice continues.
