Everyone’s favourite Samantha is leaving no stone unturned to push off her limits and give her best for the Indian spin-off of Priyanka Chopra’s spy-thriller web series ‘Citadel’.
The actress has been extensively shooting action sequences despite suffering from injuries and muscle pain. Recently, Samantha gave a glimpse of her ice bath session to reduce muscle pain after the shooting of the upcoming web series.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Samantha wrote, “It's torture time #icebathrecovery #actionmodeon.” In the pictures, she can be seen sitting inside an ice tub.
Similarly, Varun Dhawan also shared a picture of himself with several bruises. In a video shared by Varun, the ‘Main Tera Hero’ actor can be seen cleaning his wounds and bandaging them inside his vanity van.
His caption reads, “How can I celebrate lunch break #CitadelIndia (sic).”
Seeing the efforts given by the two stars, fans are excited to watch them share the screen space for the first time. The web series is created by Farzi and The Family Man fame filmmakers Raj and DK is a local spy series that features Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden in the lead.
The spy thriller will be launched on Prime Video and is one of the most expensive web series ever produced.
On the other hand, Varun Dhawan also has Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal’ alongside Janhvi Kapoor in his kitty while Samantha is yet to announce her next project after the debacle of ‘Shakuntalam’.
