Even as Samantha Akkineni’s digital debut The Family Man 2 is currently gaining raving reviews from critics and fans alike, the south beauty has added another feather to her cap by beating Rashmika Mandanna, Nayanthara and others to top the Chennai Times Most Desirable Women Of 2020.
Samantha has beaten top south actress like Rashmika Mandanna, Nayanthara, Sai Pallavi, Kajal Aggarwal, Keerthy Suresh, Nithya Menen, Andrea Jeremiah and others to achieve the coveted title.
The South Diva has a multifaceted personality, who is not only known for her acting skills but she is an entrepreneur, influencer and fashionista who speaks her mind, which are some of the reason she has been voted as the Chennai Times Most Desirable Women Of 2020.

When questioned about her feeling about being voted as the Most Desirable Woman, Samantha replied that she thinks that her marriage with Naga Chaitanya has made her much more desirable.
She was quoted by Times of India as saying, "Apparently, marriage has made me much more desirable (laughs). Earlier, I never really got these tags and now, these tags are coming consistently. But, thank you. I am not very great at receiving compliments or awards. People who are close to me know that I get very uncomfortable with awards or compliments, so I would not really know how to reply exactly."
Further, when asked about what desirable mean to her. She said that according to her desirability is more the impression that you leave on a person and not really the physicality. It is the impact that you can make on another person's life.
