It has been more than three years since Disha Vakani, who played the popular role of Dayaben, took a break from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. While there have been lots of rumours and speculations regarding whether she will return to the show or soon get replaced with a new actress, her fans continue to miss her badly.

Recently, when her picture with Neha Mehta and Late Ghanashyam Nayak aka Nattu kaka from Diwali special episode surfaced, fans just could not stop themselves from writing that they are missing all these actors. While Ghanashyam Nayak died a couple of months ago, Neha Mehta left the show last year.
Be it her nok-zhok with Jethalal, gupshup with mahila mandal from Gokuldham, or her hatke relationship with brother Sunder Veera aka Mayur Vakani who also happens to be the real-life brother of Disha, her every action is being missed in a big way.
Surprisingly, not only adults but even young children who love this hit comedy show on Sony SAB want her to return and have showered her with requests like “Aunty please wapas aa jao na.”
Undoubtedly, Disha Vakani as Daya has been quite remarkable because fans cannot see anyone else in her place. And, it seems like even the makers of the show are unable to get a replacement for her.
Many other lead actors, who played the characters like Hathi Bhai, Anjali Mehta, Sodhi, Sonu and Tappu, have been replaced over the years but the producers are yet to replace her despite Disha being away from the show for more than three years. And that speaks volumes of the impact this Jodha Akbar actress has made with her strong portrayal as Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
