In the last few years, the TRP of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has dropped down considerably. While a monotonous storyline can be one of the reasons for the lack of viewership, big actors leaving the show has also made an impact on the popularity of this daily soap. Apart from that, there have been rumours that all is not well between the leading stars of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

First, there were rumours that things are not cordial between Shailesh Lodha who plays the role of Mehta Saab in the serial, and Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal. Next, there were speculations that Dilip Joshi is not happy with the behavior of Raj Anadkat aka Tappu. According to a buzz, Raj Anadkat came late on the set for the shooting while Dillipji who is the senior-most and the lead star of the serial was always on time.

So, when one day Dilip Joshi had to wait for over an hour for Raj Anadkat, he got angry and scolded him on the set. Since then while Raj continues to follow Dilipji on social media, the former has unfollowed Raj Anadkat.

Recently, both Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta aka Babitaji were spotted sharing the limelight on the red carpet of the ITA Awards where some of the big names from the Indian entertainment industry were also present. First, Dilip Joshi posed alone for the shutterbugs but when everyone started calling the name of Babitaji, Dilipji called Munmun who was around the corner, and shook hands with her. Both of them posed for the paparazzi as the shutterbugs kept on clicking.

Munmun looked vivacious and charming as usual in a white dress with a front slit; Dilip Joshi glittered in a red, shimmering blazer. While the two posed for the paps, there was not much interaction or bonding between the two. Both Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutt have been a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah since it started more than 10 years ago. So, it was expected that the two should meet each other warmly. But Dilip Joshi seemed quite distant and aloof as he stood beside Munmun.
