Tiger Vs Pathaan delayed; Has Tiger 3's low box office collection impacted the decision?

YRF’s Tiger 3 has wrapped up with a lifetime box office collection of 283 crores which ensured that the movie is a clean hit. Trade experts believe that it is the stardom of Salman Khan, the chemistry of the actor with Katrina Kaif, and the high expectations from the Tiger franchise that made the movie emerge as a hit. However, the thing that is worrying the YRF management is that the content failed to make it a blockbuster like War or Pathaan.

And that can be one reason why Aditya Chopra and the team have decided to push the making of Tiger vs Pathaan to 2025. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the Tiger vs Pathaan movie was slated to start in March 2024 but now Aditya Chopra has decided to rework the script personally so that YRF can offer better content to the audience. Siddharth Anand is going to direct Tiger vs Pathaan. Currently, he is busy with the post-production work for Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s Fighter.

Once Siddharth is free from these duties, Aditya Chopra will sit with the director and try to come up with an improved version of the script that has already been written. The YRF head intends to reintroduce Tiger to his ferocious form and hence he is planning to focus all his attention on the script and making of Tiger vs Pathaan.

Since Tiger is the first spy from YRF’s Spy Universe, Aditya Chopra is planning to present him in such a way that it will bowl the minds of the audience. Since Pathaan and Tiger will have a face-off in this movie, the expectations have already skyrocketed. And there is no room for compromise. That is why it seems Aditya Chopra has delayed the shooting so that he can invest all his energies in this project and ensure that the movie is a blockbuster.
