Katrina Kaif is an amazing dancer. If after Madhuri Dixit an actress in Bollywood who can be said to be the dancing queen it is got to be Kats. Naturally, she has some big superhits to her name be it Sheila Ki Jawani, Chikani Chameli, Kala Chashmah –the list is endless. Even Alia Bhatt during one of her stints on “Koffee with Karan” said that Katrina takes a dance number to another level and no one can match her.
However, of late there have been rumours that most of the dance steps from Katrina Kaif’ s hit song Kamli Kamli were done by reality show dancer and judge Shakti Mohan. Of course, there were a few steps that were very difficult and required a trained dancer to perform but most of the dance steps were done by the actress herself and now a few BTS clips that show Kats practicing them with choreographer Vaibhai Merchant have surfaced online.

These two songs from Dhoom 3 are one of the biggest hits from Katrina’s career and she had to practice a lot for the same. From pole dance to aerial dancing, Katrina had to undergo a lot of training and hard work to ensure that she got the intricate steps right.

Even Aamir Khan can be seen practicing some aerial dancing for the hit Malang Malang song from Dhoom 3 in one of these BTS clips. Work-wise Katrina Kaif’s last release was Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi which was well received. She has yet to announce her new projects but is pretty much involved in expanding her current business of Kay Beauty.
Katrina was expected to star alongside Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Zoya Akhtar-produced Jee Le Zaraa but it seems that the project is now shelved.
