The Kapil Sharma Show is likely to go off air soon as the cast and the crew of the comedy show are reportedly preparing to go for a live tour.
Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma revealed that the show may go on hiatus after June this year for a live tour in the United States.
Though Kapil didn’t confirm whether the hiatus will be a shorter one or for an indefinite period, fans are heartbroken and many even took to social media to express their disappointment.
"It is not finalised yet. We have to go to the USA for our live tour in July and we will see what to do around that time. Having said that, even that’s too far," Kapil told ETimes.
Earlier in 2021 and also in 2022, The Kapil Sharma Show had gone on hiatus for around three months for international tours.
Later, the show returned to television with new cast members. The current season or the fourth season was launched in September last year.
Kapil was recently praised for his performance in Nandita Das directed movie, ‘Zwigato’ co-starring Shahana Goswami. The film was also premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022.
