News Highlights

  • The Kapil Sharma Show's Sudesh Lehri created a new twist with his hilarious singing.
  • Guest Sadhna Sargam and Amit Kumar could not hold their laughter all through this act.

The Kapil Sharma Show off late has become quite predictable and monotonous. The same actors playing the same characters and Kapil Sharma delivering his standup act with the usual smirk had dropped the surprise and entertainment quotient of the show. For a change, yesterday’s episode that features Anu Malik, Sadhana Sargam and Amit Kumar as guests was a bit different.

Of course, the credit goes a lot to Amit Kumar’s unique style of mimicry of Kishore Kumar and Ashok Kumar, his dance with Archana Puran Singh and some interesting revelations by Sadhnaji and Anuj. But for a change, it was Sudesh Lehri who just uplifted the moods of the guests and the audience with his different style of singing. Krushna Abhishek, Rochelle Rao and Chandan Prabhakar wanted to prove who was the best dancer while Sudesh was supposed to sing.

So when Sudesh started singing, he first sang normally and later on started singing very slowly due to which all the three actors had to dance in slow motion. In between, Sudesh also added a sort of rap-talk and made some sounds. Watching Krushna, Chandu, and Rochelle doing the dance in slow motion and then suddenly grooving to the sounds was a hilarious experience.

Even the guest Sadhana Sargam could not hold her laugh and had tears in her eyes simply because of laughing for a long time. More such acts are needed on The Kapil Sharma Show so that it regains the popularity it once enjoyed. Archana Puran Singh doing a comedy act with guest Amit Kumar also was a nice change.

In the Sunday episode, yesteryear actresses Zeenat Aman, Anita Raj and Poonam Dhillon will appear as guests on The Kapil Sharma Show. The promos are already out and the most discussed section is that of Zeenatji revealing why producers asked her to do more scenes in rains.
