The Kapil Sharma Show: Return Of Navjot Singh Sidhu And Archana Puran Singh's Reaction

The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) aired on Sony Entertainment Television is one of the most entertaining stand-up comedy and talk shows. Apart from the host Kapil Sharma and his team of comedians, the permanent guest also hits the headline very often.

Former Indian cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu was replaced by actress Archana Puran Singh as the permanent guest in 2019. Archana took over the part after Sidhu quit the show to remain actively involved in politics. 

Though the new team also turned out to be a hit among viewers, there have been lots of talks on social media about Sidhu's return to the show. Moreover, several memes are circulating on different social media platforms about Archana.

Following the declaration of the Punjab Assembly elections results on March 10, somehow viewers have started assuming that Sidhu's political career is on the verge of getting ruined. Being the Congress Chief in Punjab, the entire responsibility of the party's debacle will be on Sidhu. Soon after the announcement about Sidhu's defeat, memers began a fest saying that Archana should be worried about her part in TKSS as Sidhu would return to the show owing to his "ruined political career".

Meanwhile, Archana broke her silence to the ongoing trolls and memes.

"I am not affected by these memes as it is not something new. What I am surprised about is how a person who has quit and joined politics is still being connected with what I am doing on the show," Archana was quoted as saying during an interview with The Times of India.

Further, Archana went on to say, "I have never been involved in politics. I have a particular role in the show, which I am doing diligently, but somehow when there is something new happening to Sidhu, memes are made on me. Isn’t that strange"

"But people on social media are behaving as if I only have this job and no other work in life. If ever Sidhu decides to come back or the channel or producer of the show wants Sidhu back, I am always willing to move on and find some other project," she added.

Well, the decision of bringing back Sidhu on the comedy show is entirely on the producer and channel. But, the topic of Sidhu's comeback to the show after the party's debacle abruptly showcases that fans/viewers are expecting that his major defeat and party's debacle will completely ruin his political career and he will be forced to make a comeback.
