The Kapil Sharma Show In Trouble; Fans Plan To Boycott Salman Khan-Produced Comedy Show

Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty starrer The Kashmir Files will release on 11th March. The preview has already attracted a lot of attention with many social media users eagerly awaiting its release. Many netizens were expected to get a better outlook on the movie before its release through the star cast hoping that they will grace The Kapil Sharma Show anytime soon.

Usually, most of the movies or web series team is openly welcomed on this Salman Khan-produced comedy show. But now the director of the movie-Vivek Agnihotri has said that they have not been allowed to promote The Kashmir Files on The Kapil Sharma Show. In a reply to a Twitter user who asked Agnihotri to promote his movie on TKSS since it is a good topic, the director said that they do not have any say in whether their team is called on the show or not and that the final decision rests on Kapil Sharma and the producer of the show.

Vivek in yet another tweet said that they have not invited us on the show because the movie does not have a big star cast. This seems to have irked the social media users who have started trending #boycottkapilsharmashow on Twitter and have even dragged Salman Khan into the controversy. A few believe that since the Dabangg star’s ideologies do not match with those shown in The Kashmir Files, they have decided not to invite them to The Kapil Sharma Show.

Kapil is yet to come out with his reply on these speculations that are currently trending on Twitter. Earlier it was reported that Akshay Kumar will not be coming to the show to promote his upcoming flick Bachchan Pandey because of some misunderstanding. However, later on, Kapil updated the Twiteratti that the Khiladi Kumar is definitely coming on the show and there is no misunderstanding between them.

Hopefully, the famous standup comedian will soon come up with a similar clarification regarding the current controversy connected with The Kashmir Files.
