The Kapil Sharma Show, which is all set to return on the small screen with its third season, is surrounded by rumours that the show's special judge Archana Puran Singh may not come back for the upcoming season as she has already left the show.

However, Archana has now addressed the speculations and termed all those news as baseless rumours without any truth. She said that she is very much part of the show and is looking forward to shooting with Kapil Sharma and the whole team of TKSS.

Speaking to a leading daily, Archana Puran Singh said, "I am not aware of any such development. In its upcoming season, I am going to be a part of the show. There were similar rumours last year too when I was shooting for a film. This year I am shooting for a series and people have assumed I have quit the show. There is no truth to these rumours".

"I love watching actors perform on stage and I enjoy the humour. The fact that Kapil Sharma chose me to be part of the show is great, " she added.

Meanwhile, there are reports of host Kapil Sharma hiking his fees for the upcoming season is also doing the rounds.

According to reports, Kapil, who is known for his quirky one-liners and impeccable comic timing, will be charging a whopping Rs 1 crore per week.

Reportedly, Kapil in the last season was charging Rs 30 lakh per episode to host the show. However, the comedian has now hiked his fee per episode to Rs 50 lakh, which means earlier he used to charge Rs 60 lakh a week.

Notably, The Kapil Sharma Show, which went off-air earlier this year in February, is all set to return to the small screen in July with a new format and new actors to take the audience back on a laughter ride.
