The Family Man is one of the most successful Indian web series franchises which has kept fans hooked to it. Ever since the makers of The Family Man announced that the series will be renewed for a third season, fans have been waiting in anticipation and are counting days to watch the magic of secret agent Srikant Tiwari aka Manoj Bajpayee once again.
In a good news for the fans of Manoj Bajpayee starrer, the spy thriller's season 3 is scheduled to go on floors by the end of this year, according to the latest reports.
According to Pinkvilla, a source close to the makers, Raj and DK, has revealed that the duo has cracked the idea and have begun writing the script based on the ending of the last season. And, if everything goes as per the plan, Raj and DK will start shooting for the next season by the year-end.
The third season of the series will see many new actors join the main star cast and reportedly their casting will begin soon after the script is completed.
The Family Man tells the story of Srikant Tiwari, who is juggling between being a family man and a secret agent as he tries to save the nation from an imminent attack.
While the first season of The Family Man unfolded in Mumbai, Delhi and Kashmir, the second season was set in Chennai, London, Mumbai and Delhi.
The third season is likely to involve the Northeastern states as in the last scene of season 2, a mysterious person sitting in Kolkata was seen getting ready for a Chinese mission Guan Yu, which is likely to hit the northeast region of the country.
