Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor shared a new poster of their upcoming Netflix film The Archies today. The poster shows all the actors in character mode and has triggered some serious comments from social media users.

The Archies is one of the most famous comics that have an entire generation of millennials following its characters like Archies, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, and more like crazy.

These are the special childhood memories that many teenagers and school children hold close to their hearts. So when the lead actresses of these series shared the new poster of The Archies, social media seriously urged, “Please don’t insult original Archies .....an avid Archies reader since childhood getting an eye sore looking at these clowns.”

From slamming the star kids calling them zero talent to comments like “watch at your own risk”, this Zoya Akhtar-helmed film is already receiving a lot of negative reactions even before the launch of its first trailer.

A lot of hype was created when Zoya announced this film which is based on the iconic comics set in Riverdale’s fictional town during the 60s. The movie is being criticized mostly because of the star cast. Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan, the star kids from big families in Bollywood are making a debut with The Archies.

The movie also has other youngsters like Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda playing important characters but since Agastya, Khushi, and Suhana come with the tag of being star kids, their name is being highlighted more.

The movie is being produced by Tiger Baby Films which is a joint venture between Reema Kagtai and Zoya Akhtar and their first OTT film production. Their recent cop web series starring Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma on OTT titled Dahaad is streaming on Amazon Prime Video India and receiving a good response.
