Thalapathy Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna Romance Likely, Know All We Know So Far

National crush Rashmika Mandanna is rumoured to have grabbed an opportunity to work alongside Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay.

According to reports, Thalapathy Vijay will be collaborating with Maharshi director Vamshi Paidipally for his upcoming movie which will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish. The movie is tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 66'.

Reportedly, Rashmika has been roped in to romance Thalapathy Vijay in the untitled film. However, an official confirmation from the maker and the actress on the same is still awaited.

Earlier, the makers reportedly wanted to cast either Pooja Hegde or Kiara Advani to play the female lead but later they zeroed in on Rashmika.

So, if the reports are true, this will be the first time the Pushpa actress will romance Thalapathy Vijay.

According to sources, the film is scheduled to go on floors from April 2 at Gokulam Studios in Chennai with a song sequence featuring Rashmika and Thalapathy Vijay, which Thaman is composing.

Notably, Rashmika in many interviews has admired Thalapathy Vijay and admitted him of being her favourite star. 

On the work front, Rashmika is gearing up for the release of her upcoming Telugu film Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu alongside Sharwanand. She will also be making her Bollywood debut this year with "Mission Majnu" opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
