The revelation was made by the makers of the romantic drama on Tuesday. The production house Maddock Films took to Instagram to share the news, saying, “Mark your calendars – Valentine Week! Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan present an untitled film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, set to release on February 9, 2024.”
In the poster, Shahid and Kriti share an intimate moment, seemingly on the brink of a kiss. Notably, the inclusion of a robot in the title has sparked curiosity about its role in the plot. Speculations suggest that Kriti, portraying the robot, develops emotions for Shahid's human character, adding an intriguing layer to the narrative.
Kriti shared the poster on her social media, along with the release date – a Valentine's Day treat scheduled for February 9, 2024. The film is directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, with production credits going to Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar. Apart from the lead duo, the romantic flick features veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.
The film's speculated plot revolves around a clumsy young man discovering his soulmate in a distant future, navigating through a series of comical errors and challenges to win her heart. The first-look poster exudes charm as Shahid and Kriti share an enchanting moment on a bike against the backdrop of a setting sun.
The decision to release ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ on the Valentine's Day 2024 weekend follows a strategic move by the makers, choosing the romantic occasion for a quirky love story after the earlier clash between ‘Yodha’ and ‘Merry Christmas’ in December 2023.
