Tarang Cine Flix to kick start on March 11; Amol Palekar, Hansal Mehta among guests

Tarang Cine Productions will host the Tarang Cine Flix conclave on March 11 and 12 in Bhubaneswar to celebrate the journey of regional cinema.

It will be organised at the auditorium of Institute of Physics, near Sainink School in the Smart City.

The conclave will feature screening of regional movies and discussions with cine personalities including Amol Palekar, Sandhya Gokhale, Hansal Mehta, Babusan Mohanty, Himanshu Khatua and Sabyasachi Mishra on a range of topics.

Odisha Television Network, Creative Head, Ranjan Satapathy said, “This is the first time a regional cinema conclave has been organised by us on the lines of Tarang Cine Utsav which is organised every year.”

“Regional cinema has crossed geographical boundaries many a times. Even in Odisha, movies like Daman and Pratikhya have made national headlines. So, a conclave on regional cinema was the need of the hour. We will discuss various topics with directors, cinematographers, scriptwriters and other creative personalities in the conclave,” Satapathy added.
