Disha Vakani, who is known for her portrayal of Dayaben in Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is one of the few actors who have left a deep impression on the audience for the character they portray.
 
Despite being away from the Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah since 2017, the popularity of Dayaben has remained unhindered. Fans are still eagerly waiting for her return on the show, however, there is no official confirmation from the actress or the producer of the show on the same.
 
Disha is known for impeccable portrayal of Dayaben. Disha effortlessly portrayed Dayaben's infectious laughing, her traditional Dandiya moves and perfect cooking skills.
 
 
However, the actress in one of her interviews had revealed that she is exactly the opposite of her on-screen character in real life.
 
Even though Dayaben's nature is quite mixing, Disha in real life is quite shy and takes time to open up. She also revealed that she has trust issues and cannot blindly believe someone. Unlike her on-screen character, Disha also confessed that in real life she only knows the basic things to cook and is not a good like Dayaben.
 
In an interview with First India News Rajasthan, Disha Vakani had talked about the difference between her real self and Dayaben. She said, “Dayaben kisise bhi mix ho jati hai. Mai itni jaldi se mix nai ho jati, thoda time lagta hai. Jaldi se bharosa nahi karti. (She mixes with everyone easily but I can’t do that in real life. I don’t trust people easily.”
 
Recently, there have been a lot of buzz about Disha Vakani's return on the small screen, however, it is not on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. It is being speculated that Disha might make her comeback on Color TV's popular reality show Bigg Boss 15. The news has left her fans super excited However there has been no official confirmation yet.
