Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar comes to the rescue of Aamir Khan who was stuck in Chennai floods

Superstar Aamir Khan who has shifted his base to Chennai from Mumbai for his mother’s treatment was recently stuck in floods following severe rainfall due to Cyclone Michaung. The ‘Ghajini’ star was rescued by the fire and rescue department.

A picture of him being taken to safety in a boat has been going viral on social media. Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal who was also stuck with Aamir Khan shared a picture of them being rescued to safety. Vishnu’s wife Jwala Gutta, a national badminton champion can also be spotted in the pictures.

Sharing a selfie with Aamir Khan and the rescue team, Vishal wrote, “Thanks to the fire and rescue department in helping people like us who are stranded. Great work by TN govt in such testing times, thanks to all the administrative people who are working relentlessly.”

Soon, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar also checked on Aamir Khan after learning that the superstar was stuck in his residence in the heavy rains and helped with his travel arrangements.

“After getting to know our situation through a common friend, the ever-helpful Ajith sir came to check in on us and helped with travel arrangements for our villa community members… Love you Ajith Sir!” Vishal shared a picture with Ajith.
Known for his simplicity, Ajith is seen dressed in cargo pants and a white shirt as he poses for a selfie with Aamir Khan and Vishal. With the help of Ajith, both the actors reached to a safe place.

For the unversed, torrential rain triggered by cyclone Michaung has wreaked havoc upon Tamil Nadu. Most parts of Chennai are currently submerged in water. Several cars were seen floating on the waterlogged roads.

Meanwhile, Tamil actor Suriya and his brother Karthi have announced an initial donation of Rs 10 lakhs that will go to help with any kind of relief aid required. The distribution is being done by Suriya’s fan clubs.
