Actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma are the new lovebirds who have been painting the town red with their love. The new 'it couple' in Bollywood frequently made it to the headlines ever since the duo got spotted together celebrating New Year in Goa. Since then fans have celebrated the pictures of the couple and the moments they share together. It has been almost one and a half years since they were spotted together during the New Year celebration. Soon after that, it was announced that the duo would be collaborating for Lust Stories 2. Fans speculated that they started dating after working together.
However, recently, Vijay cleared the air and revealed how they fell in love and how it started. While talking to Tanmay Bhat on a YouTube channel, Vijay said that Love Stories 2 was a Cupid for them but their real love story started later. Further, he clarified that they didn't start dating during the shoot.
Vijay said, "Lust Stories was a cupid but it wasn’t during the shoot that we started dating. There was discussion of a wrap party happening but it never happened. So, we wanted to have a wrap party and only four people showed up."
Further, he added, "That day I feel I told her that I want to hang out more with you. It took 20-25 days for the first date to happen after that.”
Amid the intensifying buzz about their relationship, Tamannaah and Vijay confirmed it just before the release of Lust Stories 2.
During an interview with Film Companion, Tamannaah said that they bonded "very organically."
Talking about their love story, she said, "He (Vijay) is someone who came to me with all his guard down. Then, it became very easy for me to put all my guard down. He’s a person who I care about deeply and yeah, he’s my happy place.”
On the work front, Vijay was last seen in Murder Mubarak. He will be next seen in Mirzapur 3, Ul Jalool Ishq and Matka King. On the other hand, Tamannaah has Aranmai 4 and Vedaa in her kitty.
