Nidhi Bhanushali played the character of Sonu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s for several years before taking a break from the hit comedy serial to pursue personal interests. Some time ago a video clip showing Nidhi trying surfing and kayaking surfaced online. The video clip shows Nidhi amid the ocean waters in a tiny two-piece bikini balancing the surfing board. She captioned this post, “Good vibes happen on the tides.”
Another post shared by Nidhi a few days ago, shows the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah-fame in a modern look which once again surprised her fans. Interestingly, the caption of this post of Nidhi also suggests a rebellious mood. The lines are the lyrics from Aamir Khan’s song from Dil Chahta Hai movie that say, “Bigde Duniya Bigadne Bhi Do, Jhagde Duniya Jhagadne Bhi Do, Lade Yeh Duniya Ladne Bhi Do, Hum Apni Dhun Mein Gayen.”
These lines and the modern look of Nidhi made fans react, “Sonu tu kafi change hogayi re.” While most of the fans believe that Nidhi has changed over the years a few also like her new look and support her attitude to living life the way she wants. The actress has a huge fan base on social media and there are many who want her to return to television.
However, until now Nidhi has not given any hint regarding whether she would like to make a comeback on television. Reportedly, she was offered Bigg Boss 15, but Nidhi Bhanushali rejected it as she does not seem to be interested in being a part of a reality show like Bigg Boss.
