Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Jethalal Not To Quit Show, Reveals Future Plans

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah  Chashmah (TMOKC) is an iconic comedy-drama that has been entertaining the audience since 2008. All the characters of TMKOC are loved by the audience, however, the character of Jethalal Champaklal Gada with his quirky traits is considered to be the most popular and loved character.

Actor Dilip Joshi, who plays the character of Jethalal over the years, has become a household name. Joshi, a seasoned actor, in his acting career has been part of many shows and movies but his character of Jethalal has brought him accolades and adulation which every actor dreams of. However, there has been a buzz that after Dayaben, Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi may now bid his goodbyes to the show leaving the fans worried.

These rumours started doing round after, Dilip during an interview with Times of India opened up if he wished to quit the show, to which he had said, "My show is a comedy show and it's fun being a part of it. So till the time I enjoy it, I will do it. The day I feel that I am not enjoying it anymore, I will move on." 

However, he further revealed that there are no such plans of quitting the show as he doesn't want to ruin the love he gets from fans because of the show. He said that, "I feel that when this show is doing well, why unnecessarily quit this one for something else. People love us so much and why would I want to ruin that for no reason." 

He also revealed his future plans and said that he has many more things he wants to do as an actor. And with the movies of today taking up wonderful subjects, he wishes to be part of these great stories and will not miss a good film role if he is offered. However, currently, he is enjoying what is happening in his life both professionally and personally.
