Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is very much popular in India. But it also has a good international reach. Moreover, the characters of this comedy hit show are equally popular especially the lead stars Jethalal and Dayaben. Recently when an international journalist David Llada mentioned Jethalal in one of his tweets, immediately his number of followers increased by 200.

Replying to this tweet, David’s follower said that if he keeps on mentioning Jethalal in his tweets his following will increase by 2000 soon. The tweet of David mentioning Jethalal that increased his following shows David comparing his shirt with Jethalal saying that the latter wore it better.

As all Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fans know, Dilip Joshi’s Jethalal wears designer, specially tailored shirts in the series, and many of these shirts have been quite unique. And this time one comparison of his shirt has helped an overseas journalist increase following.

Both Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakan who played the iconic role of Dayaben tried their destiny in Bollywood and were even part of a few big movies. Dilip Joshi was seen in Salman Khan’s hit movies Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun while Disha was noticed in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan’s Jodha Akbar.

Disha also did a few B-grade movies and gave bold scenes but failed to get the right amount of fame and boost to her career. But Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah changed the fate of these two actors and today they are one of the most popular television stars in India.

The last track of TMKOC showed that Jethalal finally manages to get hands-on Babitaji’s mobile and returns it to her as well as establishes his innocence. In the upcoming episodes, Bhide will try to help Madhavi by ironing her favourite saree and ends up ruining it.
