Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s all characters are very famous. Just as fans love to find out what is going to happen next in the serial, they are equally interested to know the updates from the lives of their favorite comedy actors from this show. Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal is one of the most popular actors from TMKOC.

While on the show he has a crush on Babitaji, in real life too Dilipji is quite romantic. Earlier during an interview, the actor said that his ideal romantic date would be with his wife Jaymala Joshi cruising along the river Thames. Although Jalebi and Fafda are favorites of Jehtalal, in his real-life Dilip  Joshi would love to choose from Lebanese or Italian food.

Revealing his favorite vacation and restaurant, Dilip Joshi said that he loved the food at a restaurant called Rasoi in Central London. For him, the perfect holiday experience was when his brother who lives in the UK prepared food, and all of them enjoyed barbeque beside a lake.

While Jethalal is the most important character of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Amit Bhatt aka Bapuji is one of the most important characters among the supporting star cast. It is a known fact that although Amit plays the father of Dilipji in this serial, in real life he is much younger than Dilip Joshi. That is why Amit had to try various tricks to look older than Dilip and play the character of his father.

At the start of the serial, he was shown as a bald, old man. To look the part, Amit Bhatt used to remove his entire hair with a gap of only 2 to 3 days. The actor revealed that during those days he removed hair around 280 times with razor and blade leading to severe scalp issues. Doctors then advised him not to remove hair in this way. The team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah advised him to instead wear a wig.

But Amit Bhatt decided to wear a traditional topi which added a better look to his character of Bapuji in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
