Taapsee Pannu has acknowledged her marriage to longtime beau Mathias Boe in a private ceremony, with only close family and friends in attendance.

The revelation follows the emergence of videos showcasing Taapsee adorned as a bride. In her first post-wedding interview, she expressed reluctance to share photos, citing concerns about the scrutiny of her personal life.

“I’m not sure if I want to open my personal life to the kind of scrutiny that happens. I’ve signed up for this, not my partner or the people who were at the wedding. That’s why I’ve kept it to myself. Intention was never to keep it a secret; I just didn’t want to make it a public affair, because then I’ll start getting worried about how it is perceived. That’s why I have no plans for a release of any kind, and don’t think I’m mentally prepared for that right now. I knew people who were there, they wanted to be there for me and were not present to judge, that’s why I was pretty relaxed,” Taapsee told Hindustan Times.

Shagun Pannu, Taapsee's sister and a wedding designer, revealed she planned the wedding ceremony. Shagun commended Taapsee's easygoing attitude and her trust in handing over the wedding planning responsibilities. With a limited guest list, Taapsee was able to fully immerse herself in the celebration without worry.

Shagun told the publication, “Taapsee wasn’t a bridezilla at all. She left everything to me in terms of the wedding planning. She just wanted to have a good time. The gathering was also limited, so Taapsee didn’t have to worry about anything.”

Notably, Taapsee and Mathias first met in 2013 at the inauguration ceremony of the Indian Badminton League, where they struck up a friendship that eventually blossomed into love. Despite their demanding schedules, they managed to nurture their bond away from the public eye, culminating in their recent nuptials.

On the work front, Taapsee Pannu was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She has a number of projects in the pipeline. She will next be seen in, ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein.’
