Sushmita Sen suffered heart attack during ‘Aarya 3’ shoot

In a shocking revelation, actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen revealed that she had suffered a heart attack during the shooting of ‘Aarya 3’. The actress further stated that she suffered a heart attack despite getting checked up twice a year.

“I had got checked up just six months before the heart attack,” Sushmita was quoted as saying to Hindustan Times. She further revealed that she continued to shoot for the web series soon after the heart attack.

“It was cathartic in a sense because all of the action that you see in the trailer was shot one month after my heart attack. So when Aarya gets shot, falls to the ground and is gasping for air, in a crazy way… it was like reel and real life,” Sushmita stated.

She further stated, “As dark as that sounds, I think it was a whole new beginning for me, both personally and for Aarya on the screen.”

During the interview, Sushmita revealed that her parents also have heart conditions.

On the personal front, Sushmita was in the news for her breakup with long-time boyfriend Rohman Shawl and her new relationship with Lalit Modi. However, she has reportedly returned back to Rohman and the two are dating again.

Rohman has been accompanying Sushmita everywhere including the promotional events of Aarya 3.
