Suriya and Jyothika on the verge of separation! Kanguva actor clarifies

Actress Jyothika is a popular face in the South film industry. The actress was born and brought up in Mumbai. Even she made her acting debut with the Hindi movie Doli Saja Ke Rakhna in 1997. Later, she moved to Tamil Film Industry and made her debut in 1999 with Vaali. After her marriage to actor Suriya in 2006, she settled in Chennai. But recently, she moved back to Mumbai with her children. Following that, rumours were abuzz that the star couple was on the verge of separation. While Jyothika had earlier cleared the air, Suriya recently clarified about it which will shut down the rumour mongers.

Currently, Suriya is busy in promotions of his upcoming flick Kanguva, also starring Bobby Deol, Disha Patani and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. During the promotions, Suriya was asked about Jyothika relocating to Mumbai. To this, the Ghajini actor said, "At the age of 18, she moved to Chennai, and she is with my family and me, and she gave up her career. She spent 27 years in Chennai. But now, she is back in Mumbai, enjoying her Bandra lifestyle.”

Further, Suriya added, "She (Jyothika) needs her time, and why should I take her away from her parents and lifestyle? It was the thought that I realized very late. At the same time, my kids also found their interesting subjects in Mumbai and their schooling is also going well here. Hence, I decided to balance between Chennai and Mumbai."

As per the reports, Suriya also clarified that Jyothika moved to Mumbai with family and Suriya is going up and down from Chennai to spend time with his family. Reportedly, Suriya will be working for 20 days and for the rest days he will remain with his family.

Earlier, Jyothika also revealed that she moved to Mumbai for work and to support her parents' health, which is temporary. She also clarified that after fulfilling her work commitments she will return to Chennai. The Shaitan actress also called the rumours of separation from her husband as baseless.

Well, now that the power couple has made it clear and dismissed the rumours of their separation, rumour mongers will shut down.
