Sunil Grover changes gears in SRK's Jawan; deets inside

Sunil Grover has come a long way from his days as a comedian on The Kapil Sharma Show. The versatile actor has shown through his body of work in the last few years that he can do all types of roles apart from being a first-class comedian. Be it Tandav, Bharat, or Sunflower, Sunil has made sure that he plays his part well and leaves an impression.

Next, Sunil Grover will be seen in Atlee’s Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara in the lead. It will be the first movie of the Southern beauty in Bollywood and with such big names from both South and Bollywood coming on board for the project it is indeed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Sunil. Fans of the comedian have been curious to know about his role in Jawan ever since it was announced that Sunil was going to be a part of this flick.

Now the details are out and it seems with Jawan the United Kacche actor is going to change his gears as he is playing a never before role. Sunil Grover is playing the role of an investigation officer in this film. His character has a lot of interesting angles and as an investigating officer, he will probe the intricacies of different criminal cases that will be a part of Jawan’s storyline.

Sunil Grover will be investigating a heist that was shot massively last year in Pune. The actor has a tough task at hand and will have to do his best as apart from Nayan and SRK, many other big stars like Sanjay Dutt, and Vijay Sethupathi have been roped in to play pivotal roles.

Interestingly, Priyamani will also do an item song for Jawan to add that extra spice and glamour to the movie. With Atlee’s past track record and Shah Rukh Khan’s revived stardom after Pathaan, the expectations from Jawan are very high.
