Suhana Khan turns 25: Celebrations, friendships, and a promising film career ahead

Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and renowned entrepreneur Gauri Khan, is celebrating her 25th birthday today (May 22, 2025). 

Born and raised in Mumbai, Suhana has always been in the spotlight, but recent years have seen her step confidently into her own identity as an actress and fashion icon. 

Her birthday marks not only a personal milestone but also a professional one, as she begins work on one of the most ambitious projects of her career.

From 'The Archies' to 'King'

Suhana made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies in 2023, where she played the iconic role of Veronica Lodge. The Netflix adaptation of the classic comic book series received praise for its fresh approach, and Suhana's performance stood out for her natural charm and screen presence. The success of The Archies opened doors to bigger opportunities, leading to her next major project—King.

The action thriller King, directed by Siddharth Anand, officially began production in Mumbai, coinciding with Suhana's birthday. While Shah Rukh Khan, who also stars in the film, is expected to join the cast later, Suhana has already begun filming her portions along with actor Abhay Verma. 

The ensemble cast includes some of Bollywood’s biggest names—Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. Following the Mumbai schedule, the film will move to international locations in Europe. The makers are reportedly aiming for a theatrical release between October and December 2026.

Suhana’s 25th birthday was not just marked by career highlights—it was also filled with warmth and affection from her closest friends. Suhana, Ananya Panday, and Shanaya Kapoor have shared a strong bond since childhood, and their love for each other was evident once again.

Ananya Panday took to Instagram Stories to post a throwback photo from the Kolkata Knight Riders' IPL victory celebration. In the image, Suhana is seen hugging her younger brother AbRam, with Ananya and Shanaya standing beside them in 'Champions' t-shirts. Ananya affectionately wrote, “Happy birthday, my sweet little Suzie Pie!! There’s no one like you. I love you so much forever, Suhaf.”

Shanaya Kapoor also wished Suhana with a heartfelt message. She shared a picture from the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant held in Portofino and captioned it, “Happy birthday, sister,” accompanied by a pink heart emoji.
