Director Amar Kaushik's latest release, ‘Stree 2’, has made a strong impact at the box office. The horror-comedy, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has been well-received by audiences.

In a recent interview with ANI, Kaushik shared his excitement about the film's success and offered insights into ‘Stree 3’, including the possible involvement of Akshay Kumar, who made a cameo appearance in ‘Stree 2’.

Discussing the timeline for ‘Stree 3’, Kaushik noted that while ‘Stree 2’ took six years to come together after the first film, the third instalment would not take as long. "It won't take six years; it will take at least three years," he said.

Regarding Akshay Kumar's potential role in the sequel, Kaushik explained, "If the story demands it, he would be seen; otherwise, he won't get it."

Expressing his gratitude for the success of ‘Stree 2’, Kaushik emphasized the collective efforts of the cast, producers, and technicians in making the film a hit. "I am thankful for the audience and those who watched the film and shared messages. A lot of hard work went into it, and the credit goes to everyone, including the stars, producers, and technicians," he said.

‘Stree 2’ is part of Maddock's horror-comedy universe, which also includes ‘Stree’, ‘Munjya’, and ‘Bhediya’.
