Stree 2 teaser unveiled: Shraddha Kapoor is back to Chanderi with 'New Horror'

Fans, eagerly awaiting the sequel to ‘Stree’, can finally rejoice as the ‘Stree 2’ teaser is out on social media. The teaser initially premiered in theaters with ‘Munjya’, has generated significant excitement.

Rajkummar Rao shared the teaser on Instagram, with the caption, “Iss baar Chanderi mein azaadi ke din hoga aatank! The legend returns this INDEPENDENCE DAY on 15th August! #Stree2 #SheIsBack #Stree2Teaser.”

The video features Rao and others pouring milk on Stree's statue, amidst chaos in the village as they exclaim, "Stree wapas aa gaye." Shraddha Kapoor, reprising her role as Stree, is also seen alongside Tamannaah Bhatia in the teaser.

‘Stree 2’ promises a return to the spooky yet hilarious world where the legendary Stree continues to terrify men. 

Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee are also part of the sequel. Fans have reacted enthusiastically, calling it the “Best teaser of the year.”

Released in 2018, ‘Stree’ garnered critical acclaim and commercial success, with its music, especially tracks like "Milegi Milegi" and "Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe," becoming hits. Nora Fatehi's performance in "Kamariya" also drew significant attention.

‘Stree 2’ is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, part of a horror-comedy universe that includes ‘Stree’, ‘Roohi’, and ‘Bhediya’.
