SSMB29 shooting in Odisha: Fans flock to Mahesh Babu's shoot site, raise security concerns

Ace South filmmaker SS Rajamouli has already kicked off the shooting of his much-awaited flick SSMB29 in Odisha's Koraput with Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Currently, the team is shooting at Talamali hilltop, surrounded by forests, valleys, and brooks. Amid the growing excitement among all, fans from across Odisha and other states have flocked to the shooting site in large numbers, heightening security concerns.

According to the latest reports, currently, the team is shooting a few action sequences atop Talamali hills near Semiliguda. Reportedly, the adventure sequences of the movie will be filmed in the foothills of Deomali Hill.

While fans have been flocking to the locations to see the shooting set, with the arrival of Mahesh Babu, the crowd has surged. Fans in large numbers are thronging the place to get a glance of the Tollywood star. Though Priyanka Chopra Jonas hasn't joined the team, with her arrival in a few days, it is expected that the attendance of fans will rise.

Not just local areas, fans from Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and different places of Andhra Pradesh have also arrived at the shooting location.

The craze for Tollywood sensation Mahesh Babu is quite evident from the thronging crowd at the shooting set. Apart from locals and cine lovers, several tourists visiting Deomali and other nearby scenic locations are not missing out on the opportunity to witness Mahesh Babu in action.

With a larger crowd expected, security has been beefed up at the shooting location. One platoon of police and a few jawans of IRP Battalion have been deployed. Moreover, private security agents have also been brought in to avert any untoward incident during the shooting.

Reportedly, the Koraput District Administration has granted permission for shooting until March 28. The team has obtained permission to shoot in Deomali, Talamali and nearby forest areas along with a few tourist spots.

While earlier pictures from the shooting set went viral on social media, recently, a short clip of Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu has taken the internet by storm. The short clip features the Guntur Kaaram actor being forced to get down on his knees in front of Prithviraj, who is in a wheelchair.
