‘Baahubali’ director SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran are in Odisha’s Koraput for the shooting of their much-awaited project ‘SSMB29’ (tentatively titled). The movie is already touted to be the next global blockbuster.

Global star Priyanka Chopra is also likely to arrive in Odisha soon for the shooting of the movie which is generating immense buzz, setting high expectations for the film's narrative and visual grandeur.

Security Arrangements for Shooting:

Meanwhile, reports are there that the production team is facing some transportation and other related issues. Besides, to accommodate the growing crowds eager to witness the filming, authorities have implemented a three-layer security arrangement.

As per sources, the production team has also received support from local businesses, including hotels and transport services, boosting the local economy. The film is scheduled to feature several breathtaking locations across the district, with permission granted for filming in Talamali and Deomali until March 28. 

The district administration has been proactive in promoting Koraput's scenic beauty, positioning it as a prime destination for film tourism, said a local.

‘SSMB29’: Details Known So Far:

‘SSMB29’ produced under the Durga Arts banner, boasts a substantial budget, reportedly ranging from Rs 1000 to 1500 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films to date. The SS Rajamouli directed movie is also expected to be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada.
