SS Rajamouli's 'friend' accuses him of ‘torture’ in video before suicide

Renowned director SS Rajamouli has been accused of harassment and torture by one of his ‘friends’ and producer Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao in a video the latter reportedly sent out before alleged suicide.

Rao claims to have been a close friend of the Baahubali director since the 1990s. In a video posted by Great Andhra, Rao alleged that Rajamouli was responsible for his personal and professional struggles.

He further accused the RRR director of subjecting him to severe torture, which he claimed forced him to take this extreme step.

What Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao Claims in the Video:

Rao reportedly shot a video and sent it to Mettu Police Station along with a letter. In the video, the deceased blames SS Rajamouli and Rama Rajamouli as the reason for his suicide. 

He further claimed that his bond with the Eega director was strong and he even sacrificed his love (a woman) for SS Rajamouli. However, Rajamouli allegedly started torturing him fearing that Rao would tell about his sacrifice to people.

“…He (SS Rajamouli) ruined my life after that. He tortured me so much since he became a big shot. I am 55 years old and have lived a single life,” he alleged, asking the police to do a lie detector test.
