Sonam Kapoor takes 'fight' ahead with Rana Daggubati

Sonam Kapoor does not seem to be at all happy with the way Rana Daggubati publicly slammed her for wasting the time of Dulquer Salmaan while filming The Zoya Factor.

Later on, he even apologised for his comment on Twitter. But the Neerja actor is not in the mood to forgive and forget. Rather, her recent social media post suggests so.

Early in the morning today, Sonam shared a post by Eleanor Roosevelt on Instagram that read something related to small minds discussing events while great minds discussing ideas.

The Bollywood actress even continued further by saying that she would like to say this to those who want to discuss such things about people that are made up.

Most of the Sonam Kapoor followers think that it is indirectly a dig at Rana Daggubati for his comment on her in the earlier press meet. For the unversed, during an event held in Hyderabad for the promotion of Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming flick King of Kotha Rana shared an incident targeting a leading Bollywood actress saying that he appreciated the patience of Dulquer.

The Baahubali actor said that the leading actress was speaking with her husband for a long time on the phone during the shooting and made the entire crew wait.

Incidentally, Sonam Kapoor is the female lead in The Zoya Factor and hence it was quite easy for the netizens to come to the conclusion that the Tollywood superstar is referring to her.

In his apology, Rana said that he was genuinely disturbed by the hatred that has been directed at Sonam as it was just a playful banter that is normal between friends and colleagues. He added that he deeply regretted his words that were misinterpreted.

However, it seems Sonam Kapoor is really hurt by the way Rana Daggubati indirectly took a jibe at her. The Zoya Factor released in 2019 was the last movie of the Veere Di Wedding actor and now after giving birth to his son now, she is eager to get back to movies.
