The stunning Sonam Bajwa has proved her critics wrong who once thought she was just a pretty face. Today, she is one of the most successful and highest-paid actresses in the Punjabi film industry.

Although she has done only a handful of films in Bollywood, she is already a well-known face and everyone knows the gorgeous beauty. 

Recently, the actress opened up on her Bollywood movies and the few terms and conditions she laid down before taking roles.

“In Bollywood, I said no to a couple of things because I said, is Punjab going to be okay with it? Because we have that mentality that families should be okay, families should be watching," said Sonam Bajwa in an interview with Film Companion.

She continued: "I was very scared to do a kissing scene in a film back then, because I thought how are people going to respond to it? How are these people who have made me who I am today, are they going to relate to it? Are they going to understand this is for the script? Is my family going to understand that this is for a film?”

Earlier, the actress had revealed how she was part of Varun Dhawan’s Street Dancer 3D and director Remo D’Souza edited her song from the movie. She also had auditioned for superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’, but was eventually replaced by Deepika Padukone.

On the professional front, Sonam’s latest movie ‘Godday Godday Chaa’ that is running successfully at the box office. She is also waiting for the release of her upcoming movie ‘Carry On Jatta 3’ alongside Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal.
