Rashmika Mandanna is currently busy shooting for her upcoming female-centric film Rainbow. Rashoo took to social media and shared a glimpse from the film sets that marked her 22nd film.
But did you know Rashmika was not the first choice of the makers for the role. The film was initially announced with Samantha 18 months ago as the lead. However, due to date issues, she opted out of the film.
However, Samantha was among the first to wish Rashmika after she shared pics from the launch of the movie on her birthday recently. The Yashoda actress commented 'All the best' on Rashmika's Rainbow launch pics.
Sam’s comment is winning hearts as despite Rashmika replacing her in the film, she is gracious enough to wish her best.
Meanwhile, Rashmika took to her Instagram story and shared a selfie from the movie set. Sharing the photo, Rashmika wrote, "Hi from the sets of Rainbow. #Rainbow. (with a rainbow emoticon)"
In the photo, Rashmika hid half of her face. The Pushpa actress looked pretty in mascara and kohl-laden eyes. She left her tresses open. Some butterfly stickers were also scattered on the photo.
According to reports, the film revolves around the leading lady and is slated to be a romantic fantasy. Actor Dev Mohan also plays an important role in the project.
