  • Salman Khan left Inshallah a couple of years ago due to creative differences with SLB.
  • A buzz says that now the director is planning to rope in SRK and Deepika for the lead roles.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to make 'Inshallah' with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt a few years ago. And even before that Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma were considered for the female lead. While SLB was keen to make it into a typical romantic love story, the Bollywood superstar wanted Inshallah to be a regular commercial potboiler that he could release on Eid.

However, when due to creative differences the Tiger 3 actor left the movie, SLB decided to switch his focus towards Gangubai Kothiawadi. Now there are reports that the famous Bollywood director is working on two mega-projects side by side.

Firstly, he has started working on his ambitious film Baiju Bawra which will have Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead. There is a strong buzz that the Devdas director is in talks with Shah Rukh Khan for Inshallah. Rather reports on the web have claimed that SRK is all set to return to the romantic genre with this movie.

Now the buzz says that Deepika Padukone may replace Alia in Inshallah as the pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Deeps have given back-to-back hits viz. Pathaan and Jawan last year.

While SRK’s career peaked in 2023, Deepika may outshine every other actress in 2024 as she has big movies like Fighter, Kalki 2898 AD, and Singham Again lined up for release. Deepika Padukone is one of the hot favourite actresses of SLB as she has worked with him on 3 back-to-back hits. He even wanted to pair her opposite Ranveer Singh in Baiju Bawra but was replaced by Alia Bhatt because Deeps demanded an equal paycheck as the male lead. And SLB refused to bow down to her demands.

So it will not be surprising if he once again ropes in the Padmaavat actress for Inshallah. If the commercial and creative aspects are sorted out between SRK and Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Leela Bhansali may once again bring back the magic of an eternal love story on the big screen.
