Of this, Rs 30.90 crore came from domestic net collections, while the India gross reached Rs 37 crore. The film also raked in Rs 13 crore from overseas markets, showcasing its universal appeal.

Notably, the film saw a staggering 88.79% jump on Saturday after a decent Rs 10.7 crore opening on Friday—hinting at strong word-of-mouth and a growing audience pull. Expectations are high for an even stronger performance on Sunday.

Record Breaker: Surpasses ‘Emergency’ and Eyes ‘Deva’

With this momentum, Sitaare Zameen Par has officially surpassed the lifetime collection of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, which closed at Rs 23.75 crore. It’s also well on track to outdo Shahid Kapoor’s Deva, which earned Rs 55.8 crore in total. For context, even Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 made Rs 30 crore worldwide in its first two days—highlighting the stellar performance of Aamir Khan’s latest outing.
