The much-awaited trailer of Sitaare Zameen Par dropped on Tuesday. In the sports drama, Aamir Khan plays the role of a harsh basketball coach Gulshan. The movie is a remake of the Spanish film Champions. However, a section of netizens don't seem to be satisfied and have accused Khan of copying the scenes frame-by-frame from Champions.

The movie marks the comeback of Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan and his first-time collaboration with the talented and charming actress Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh. In the movie, Khan plays the role of a harsh basketball coach Gulshan, who is convicted by the court for drunken driving and ordered to train specially-abled children. The movie is a remake of the Spanish film Champions. However, a section of netizens don't seem to be satisfied and have accused Khan of copying the scenes frame-by-frame from Champions.

Sitaare Zameen Par Trailer Review

The trailer of Sitaare Zameen Par dropped on Tuesday. The 3-minute long teaser introduces Khan's character Gulshan as a once-famous basketball coach, who had a major fall. Gulshan lands in trouble with the police for drunken driving and shows an insensitive attitude. He is ordered to coach a group of people on the autism spectrum.

The story is about the journey of 'a tingu basketball coach and 10 toofani sitaare'. Genelia plays the love interest of Khan in the emotional sports drama.

Interestingly, Khan's character in the spiritual sequel is exactly the opposite of the character Ram Shankar Nikumbh. The trailer has won the hearts of moviegoers with fans sharing it massively on social media showering praises on the actor.

Netizens Accuse Khan of Copying Scenes

However, a section of netizens don't seem to be satisfied and they have accused Khan and his team of copying scenes from Champions frame-by-frame. Even, to support their claims, they have shared a clip comparing the scenes of Sitaare Zameen Par with the scenes of Champions.

Sharing the clip a user wrote, "Bro took four years to copy Laal Singh Chaddha and now took three years to copy Sitaare Zameen Par. Aamir Khann is beyond finished now." (sic)
