Singham Again: Trailer launch on October 7, Ajay Devgn-starrer scripts historic OTT deal! Check details

Rohit Shetty's upcoming Singham Again has been creating buzz for quite a while now. The excitement among fans for Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor's flick is escalating with each passing day. Moreover, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff's cameo in the movie have fuelled the thrill. Amid this, the makers are all set for a grand launch of the Singham Again trailer on October 7. Moreover, the makers have scripted a historic OTT deal, as well.

Grand trailer launch event in Mumbai

Ajay Devgn and his Singham Again team are all set to witness a blast at the box office. While Singham Again is the biggest feature film to date for Rohit Shetty, the filmmaker has promised that it will be the next Avengers of his Cop Universe. Scheduled for release on November 1, the much-awaited trailer of Singham Again will be launched at a grand event on October 7.

An exclusive report by Bollywood Hungama quotes a source as saying, the Singham Again trailer will be out on Monday, October 7. An event has been planned to unveil the trailer in the presence of the actors.”

Further, the source revealed that the grand trailer launch event will be held at Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre located in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Fans and media persons will be invited to the trailer launch at the 2000-seater auditorium.

Historic OTT deal

In its report, the entertainment portal further states that the makers have got Rs. 130 crore from its digital partner, Amazon Prime.

A trade source confirmed the portal about the same saying, "Rohit Shetty and Amazon Prime have a great working equation, which is evolving with every passing day. And why not? Their first collaboration with the Indian Police Force was very successful without any hassles of production. The equation padded with the brand value of Singham and Cop Universe has got Singham Again Rs. 130 crores from Amazon Prime."

Further, the source also revealed that Singham Again is the biggest OTT deal to date for Ajay and Rohit. As per the source, the overall non-theatrical sales are around the Rs. 180-200 crore mark, with satellite and music getting another Rs. 50 to 70 crores.

Notably, Singham Again is made at a budget of Rs. 350-375 crore, excluding Print and Advertisement.
