Sidharth Shukla is dead. The news is not only sad but very shocking as he was one of the fittest actors in the television industry. The dashing and charming actor first grabbed the limelight in December 2005 by winning the World’s Best Model title beating 40 plus candidates across the globe.

Bigg Boss Fame Actor Sidharth Shukla No More

As expected media and the entertainment industry slowly started taking notice of this handsome hunk that finally led to his acting debut in 2008 on television with Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na.

He lost his father very early in life to cancer when he had just started modeling. He was an athletic person right from his childhood having represented school in football and tennis many times. After dabbling with interior designing post completing his graduation in this faculty, he decided to switch to modeling and was runner-up at the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest in 2004. That inspired him to take part in the World’s Best Model contest in Turkey where he won and became not only the first Indian, but the first Asian ever to win this title.

From here on his career kicked off as he started appearing in different advertisements on television some of which include ICICI, Bajaj Avenger and Digjam and even appeared in Ila Arun’s Resham Ka Rumal video.

Sidharth as Shubh Ranawat Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na gained a place in the hearts of young girls but the serial failed to get the required TRPs and was stopped within a year. His other serials that appeared on television during 2008 and 2011 also did not enjoy a long run. It included Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi (2009), and Love U Zindagi (2011). Sidharth also appeared in one of the episodes of CID and Aahat.

But recognition came for Sidharth Shukla in 2012 when he featured as District Collector Shivraj Shekhar in Colors hit serial Balika Vadhu. He won several awards and nominations for his role as Shiv and was a part of the serial for three years. While he was acting as Shiv in Balika Vadhu, Sidharth also became a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, where he reportedly met and impressed Dharma Productions’ Karan Johar.

Sid made his Bollywood debut with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania as a supporting actor alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in 2015. But the movie failed to take his career ahead in Bollywood. In between, the handsome actor continued to serve as a host for different television shows including Savdhaan India, India’s Got Talent 6 and 7 and even won Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 in 2016. He did a Bollywood movie and a few serials in between but it was his participation in Bigg Boss 13 that helped him bounce back in the entertainment industry.

His romantic equation with Shehnaaz Gill inside the Bigg Boss 13 house made the two of them the hottest pair on television which eventually helped Sid get some good music videos including Tony Kakkar’s Shona Shona, Dil Ko Karaar Aaya, and Bhula Dunga. After winning Bigg Boss 13, he reappeared on the show as Toofani Senior on Bigg Boss 14 and also hosted Weekend Ka Vaar in place of Salman Khan.
