Sidharth Malhotra started a new professional journey this year, debuting in the OTT space with Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force. With his stellar performance in the web series, the SOTY actor has been winning everyone’s hearts. However, the Shershaah actor caught everyone’s attention after his video went viral on social media in which he is seen cuddling an Indie dog.
During the promotion of his web series, Sidharth was probably caught by paparazzi. While posing for paps, an Indie dog sneaks in and walks to Sidharth. Instead of reacting the other way, Sid started playing with it. In the video, Sid is seen cuddling the dog with love and the canine also becomes quite friendly with the actor.
The dog wags its tail in a friendly manner after receiving Sid’s affection. The canine also rubs its face against Sid’s leg.
The video was shared on Instagram by Snehzala and instantly it went viral.
Meanwhile, such a kind gesture by the actor has won the hearts of netizens.
“He is the only actor I think jo street dog k saath itne achhe se khel raha h nhi toh actors haath bhi nhi lagate h,” wrote a user. (sic)
“This nice gentleman has a lot of love in him for our faithful friend... unconditional love... showing affection for every living being is completely free,” wrote another user. (sic)
A third user wrote, “Sid Oscar ko bahut miss karta h pakka.” (sic)
Several other users flooded the comments with heart emoticons.
Notably, Sid had a pet named Oscar. He was very close to him and it passed away in 2022. Mourning his pet’s death, Sid wrote, “Writing this With a heavy heart and moist eyes, My oscar is no longer in this world. He’s left a massive void in my heart, being my family here in Mumbai for 11 plus years. I miss his energy around me, he taught me how to care and be compassionate, taught me that emotional energy is all that matters in this world whichever form of being it comes from, He was my companion through thick and thin, always greeted me with the same enthusiasm regardless of my day or his health.”
On the work front, Sid’s debut web series is a seven-part series and is streaming on Amazon Prime Videos. Moreover, the Mission Majnu actor also has Yodha in his kitty. The movie is set for theatrical release on March 15, 2024.
