Siddharth Anand opens up on bringing Salman, Hrithik, Shah Rukh together; directing a romcom Watch

Siddharth Anand is currently busy working on Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan’s King. He has a tough task ahead as SRK’s daughter is making her big screen debut in Bollywood with this movie. Similarly, Abhishek Bachchan is also playing a villain for the first time and it will be interesting to watch the action drama. Of late Siddharth Anand is more known for action movies and scintillating fights.

Be it War, Fighter, or Bang Bang Siddharth Anand’s most of the movies are about action and drama with little scope for romance. However those who have followed the trajectory of Siddharth Anand can easily recall that the famous director started off his career with rom com like Salaam Namaste, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Anjaana Anjaani, and Bachna Ae Haseeno.

But around the middle of the last decade, he turned towards action with Bang Bang released in 2014 and became a big hit. He repeated the same feat with War produced by YRF and since then has been known more as an action director.

Will Siddharth Anand turn back to rom-com movies?

While fans love his action-packed dramas they do want him to do a few romantic comedy films that serve some light-hearted, fun-filled entertainment. When Siddharth Anand was asked regarding the same, the popular director said, “Romantic stories khatam ho gayi hai I think. Ideas khatam ho gaye hai. Mere paas ideas nahi romantic pictures banane ke liye. Abhi sirf action ke ideas aate hai mere dimag mein jaise ki mai bhaag raha hoon. Thank You.”

Siddharth Anand reunited Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen after a huge gap and that one cameo from Dabangg Khan was considered a game changer for Pathaan’s success. So now that Pathaan and Tiger shared the screen fans are eager to know when Kabir aka Hrithik Roshan will join them.

When Sid was asked when this would be possible he said, “Hrithik with Shah Rukh and Salman together? Aapki toh badi demands hai. Abhi toh shuru huwa hai. It is a long journey.”
