Siddharth Anand collabs with Mahaveer Jain for a thriller on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's contribution in Colombia

Siddharth Anand known for directing action-biggies like Fighter and War is now collaborating with producer Mahaveer Jain to produce a thriller that is based on the immense contribution of Sri Sri Ravishankar in Colombia. It is a widely known fact that the Art of Living head was instrumental in establishing peace in Colombia and ending the 52-year-old brutal civil war in the country.

An announcement video showing the immense gratitude that people have felt after Sri Sri Ravishankar intervened in the matter has now been released. It shows Japanese and Columbian citizens expressing gratitude and even India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar hailing the efforts of the spiritual guru.

The producers are yet to decide a title for this movie but according to a leading media portal, Siddharth Anand and Mahaveer Jain will be hiring actors and crew across the world for this movie. The storyline will have a Latin American backdrop and the team may start shooting for this flick by the end of 2024.

Sri Sri Ravishankar was awarded the highest civilian award in Colombia

The world-renowned spiritual guru was conferred with the highest civilian award in Colombia in June 2015 for his contribution to establishing peace across the world, especially in the Latin American country. While receiving the award, Sri Sri said, “I promise I will do all that is in my capacity to bring peace to all in the conflict in Colombia. When the conflict is between justice and peace it is a humongous task to reconcile the two. Only a spiritual dimension can ease the situation."

Fabio Raul Amin Saleme, President of the House of Representatives, Congress of Colombia in 2015 appreciated the contribution of Sri Sri Ravishankar and the activities like meditation and Sudarshan Kriya carried out by Art of Living. Saleme said, “Your commitment to Colombia for more than eight years compels us to recognise your achievements in peace matters in our overwhelmed nation, and to thank you for the undeniable presence of The Art of Living in our country.”
