The stage is all set for the wedding of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani on Tuesday in a grand manner following the mehendi ceremony and sangeet night on Monday.

As per the latest reports, a special mandap has been decorated with indigenous and foreign flowers in Jaisalmer's Suryagarh palace hotel to give a royal look to the wedding.

The nuptials began in real earnest in the morning on Tuesday with the ritual of ‘Haldi Rasam’ by applying turmeric paste to the bride and the groom by the women of their respective families. From early morning, there were several activities both outside and inside the hotel.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened in and around the wedding venue. Hotel staff members, guards, and drivers are given entry only after undergoing a thorough check.

On the other hand, preparations for baraati are going on in full swing. Sidharth will arrive on a decorated white horse with a long row of umbrella lighting on both sides. The baraati will escort ‘Dulhe Raja’ with DJ music and amid colourful lighting.

As per the schedule, the varmala and pheras will take place in the courtyard of the hotel. A special 'bavdi' has been set up for this purpose.
