Last she was seen in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan and her character of Guneet Sikka was loved by many.
Shweta Tiwari emerged as a strong woman despite two failed marriages
Her smiling face never revealed the battles she fought and the struggles in her personal life that she went through. After marrying Raja Chaudhary, she dived into married life and became a mother of a young girl Palak Tiwari who has now grown into a beautiful aspiring actress. But things did not work out with Raja and Shweta divorced him and continued to raise her daughter on her own.
Back in those days, divorce was not as common as it is today, Shweta had a hard time ignoring the taunts of society and keeping her daughter safe from such negativity.
Her second marriage left Shweta devastated
When she married Raja, Shweta was only 19 years old. But post-divorce from him and well into her late twenties, the actress fell in love with another actor Abhinav Kohli who accepted her with Palak and the two tied the knot in 2013, immediately a year after her divorce from her first husband.
But the marriage did not last long. After giving birth to their son Reyansh, differences started creeping up between Shweta and Abhinav. Sadly, for the telly beauty in both her marriages, she had to face domestic violence and had no option but to take divorce.
But in this case, Abhinav reportedly misbehaved with her daughter Palak. Not the one to take it lightly, Shweta immediately filed a police complaint against him. Abhinav has repeatedly tried to gain media attention and demanded custody of Reyansh. However, to date, it's Shweta who has Reyansh’s custody.
Her struggles, fight for justice, and still managing her career with such grace and poise indicate that Shweta is truly an inspiration for young women.
