News Highlights

  • Shruti Haasan has said that she is now preparing for her upcoming movie Salaar opposite Prabhas and is indulging in hard training to get into shape.
  • The actress is combining fight training, cardio, and dancing to get a toned and fit body.
  • While Shruti took it a bit easier during the lockdown she has refused to punish herself mentally and instead is focusing on pushing herself.

Shruti Haasan who recently got vaccinated and stepped back out of her home a few days ago for the first time after three months is now gearing up for Salaar-her upcoming release opposite megastar Prabhas. Talking about the same on her Instagram page, the Southern actress revealed how she is preparing to come back into shape.

Shruti Haasan wrote that she is back to training hard and is enjoying the glow and burn that the training has started bringing to her face. She also said that she is strengthening her body and mind doing the toughest training and will be indulging in a double workout because like many people she took things a bit easier during lockdown than she should have. However, the actress said that what is more important is now getting back to routine and instead of punishing yourself mentally it is better to push yourself and reward yourself with a renewed mindset.

Shruti  Haasan ended the post by saying that she is obsessed with the fight training and is currently mixing it up with old-fashioned cardio and dancing to 90s music for hours. A couple of days ago Shruti Haasan was spotted moving around in Mumbai with her boyfriend Santanu Hazarika after getting vaccinated. The lovebirds wore matching black-colored masks and dresses. Shruti particularly attracted attention with a funky black mask and a black hat. Santanu is a painter and Shruti keeps on sharing his paintings on her microblogging page regularly.

The actress has been away from movies for some time but made a smashing comeback last year with Ravi Teja’s Krack. Salaar can prove to be a big milestone for Shruti as it is a pan India project directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel and one of the most awaited projects of Baahubali star Prabhas.

While Shruti has appeared in a few Bollywood movies she has not been able to establish herself as the leading actress of the B-town yet. The success of Salaar might just do the trick.
