Boycott Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah trended on social media a day ago when the last few episodes failed to show the return of Dayaben. Much hype was created about Dayaben returning to the show and the storyline was such that fans had high hopes that this time they were going to see the character re-introduced in the comedy show.
But once again Sunderlal came up with sloppy excuses and this has disappointed the fans very much. And this triggered the boycott trend on X. The fans demanded that Asit Modi and his show say goodbye respectfully and exit from television.
Now, the producer has opened up about Daya not returning on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and said that the show is not going anywhere and that Daya will be back. Modi said that he is here to entertain and will continue to do so.

On TMKOC taking an exit from television, Asit Kumarr said, “Only due to certain circumstances, we are unable to bring Daya's character back on time. But, that does not mean that the character is not going to enter the show at all!” He added that it could be Disha Vakani or any other actress who would play the role of Daya and promised that Daya would return soon.
Fans are very much eager to have Dayaben back on TMKOC. Rather most of the fans of this comedy show want Disha Vakani to return but it seems she is not interested in returning. Apart from Disha, many other actors like Shailesh Lodha, Jennifer Mistry, Neha Mehta, and more have left the show. Many fans believe that TMKOC has lost its charm and although they enjoy watching the old episodes they do not feel like watching the latest ones.
Asit Kumarr and the team have been running Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for 15 years now and many believe that the show has already exceeded its run on television.
